WaterfrontCERT

We will create a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) for Waterfront at Main Street. To successfully do this we need volunteers from our neighborhood. If you are interested in serving please let us know. We will be meeting at the pool at 4:00pm on Thursday March 3, 2022 to discuss forming our team. We can join the homeowners happy hour after our discussion.

During a major disaster such as a hurricane emergency services may be overwhelmed. We may have to take care of ourselves during the emergency. Lakewood Ranch has a very active CERT program and our Team would be part of the Lakewood Ranch CERT. Since so many of us travel, we are hoping to get 6 or more volunteers on our team so that we would likely have at least 3 volunteers present in case of a disaster. Remember, CERT would only be activated should a major disaster occur.
